End cap that closes the KLUŚ PDS-ZM-PLUS aluminium profile. Made of ABS, in white RAL 9010. It is the part most easily forgotten when ordering, and the one without which an installation does not look finished: profiles are sold without caps, as a separate line in the manufacturer's catalogue.
What the cap is for
A cut profile has an open section – the LED strip, the wiring and the cut edge are all on show. The end cap closes that section, keeps dust and insects out of the channel, and holds the cover in place at the end of the run so it cannot slide out along the profile. Since a profile has two ends, two caps are needed per run.
Choosing the colour
KLUŚ offers PDS-ZM-PLUS end caps in four colours: white, black, silver and grey. The profile itself comes silver anodized, black anodized and white lacquered – this cap in white RAL 9010 is the match for the white lacquered version. The colour is worth choosing deliberately: the end cap is the one part that looks straight back at you from the end of the run.
About the PDS-ZM-PLUS profile
PDS-ZM-PLUS is a universal KLUŚ aluminium profile intended for main and decorative lighting. It mounts on the surface or suspended – on the dedicated accessories, mounting adhesive or properly selected screws – and sections can be joined into longer runs and systems. The profile has smooth walls, a small bending radius and accepts sealed K-series LED strips.
