Lucide JASPER 65206/11/38 is a cream clamp lamp with a metal shade and a black flexible arm. Rather than standing on a conventional tabletop base, it attaches to a suitable furniture edge. This Essential collection variant takes one replaceable GU10 bulb.
Check the edge before choosing a position
The manufacturer's drawing specifies a maximum clamp opening of 2 cm. Measure the edge of the desk, side table or shelf where you intend to attach it before ordering. The clamp itself is 10 cm long and needs space for its jaws on both sides of that edge. This is not a freestanding table lamp that can simply be placed on a chest of drawers.
Lucide lists overall dimensions of 5.2 × 16.5 × 27 cm. The shade is 7.5 cm long, with a diameter of approximately 5.2 cm. Compare these measurements with the available space above the work surface and around the furniture edge, particularly where books or a monitor sit nearby. A small lamp head does not by itself establish that the clamp will fit a particular mounting position.
A flexible arm and a cable-mounted switch
The arm lets you change the orientation of the head. The manufacturer identifies desks, worktables and beds as intended settings, making this a supplementary reading or task light rather than a replacement for a whole-room lighting plan. Its cream metal shade, black arm and compact clip give it a restrained modern appearance. The base element is made from PVC.
The cable has a plug, measures 150 cm and carries the on/off switch. When planning the position, check the cable route to the socket rather than just the direct distance. Keep the switch accessible after attaching the clamp.
Choose the bulb separately
One GU10 (MR16) bulb rated at no more than 25 W is required and is not included. A suitable LED bulb can be used. Light colour, brightness and distribution depend on the bulb selected, not on the cream finish of the shade. Lucide specifies the fixture as non-dimmable. It is an indoor model, not an outdoor lighting fixture.
