Lucide XIO 09217/04/36 is a compact indoor wall light with a cubic form and a matt grey finish. Its aluminium body measures 9.7 × 9.7 × 9.7 cm, so the measurement can be checked against the available wall space before installation. The square wall plate is aluminium as well.
Upward and downward light
The box includes one dimmable G9 LED light source rated at 4 W, 350 lm and 2700 K. Its warm light is directed upward and downward, and brightness can be regulated with a suitable dimmer. Two adjustable slats allow partial adjustment of the beam angle.
Installation and operation
Lucide specifies 230 V mains supply, operation from a standard wall switch and IP20 protection. One fixture, the light source and installation materials are supplied. XIO is intended for indoor use; it is not specified as a bathroom or outdoor fitting.
Compact contemporary detail
The square proportions, grey colour and matt powder coating give this model a modern, minimalist presence. It can complement a living room, bedroom, dining area or hallway when its upward-and-downward light distribution suits the planned lighting layout.
Technical details in context
The fitting has electrical class I, and Lucide states a 15,000-hour lifetime for the supplied LED source. Its CRI 80 colour-rendering index and 360° beam angle are specifications of that source. They do not by themselves define illumination of a whole room: mounting height, wall colour and other light points also affect the result in a particular setting.
