This rectangular LUMINES ceiling canopy in black RAL9005 is a component for building a pendant light from the brand’s LED profiles. The housing provides space to conceal a power supply. Its plain, elongated shape suits a minimalist ceiling finish.

Housing dimensions and cable routing

The outside dimensions are 380 × 40 × 40 mm, so compare its length and width with the planned mounting position. These are the overall housing dimensions, rather than the maximum permitted power supply size. When selecting a driver for the light, allow for the space actually available inside.

The cable entry accepts a cable up to 7 mm in diameter. Compare this limit with the outside diameter of the complete cable, rather than the cross-sectional area of an individual conductor. The cable clamp provides strain relief, with its screw securing the cable.

What the complete canopy kit includes

The components arrive assembled: housing, mounting bracket, cable clamp with screw, hexagonal nut, earth wire, toothed lock washer and an M10×1 threaded nipple. The thread designation allows this connection to be checked against the other components selected for the construction.

Mounting plugs are not included and must be selected separately for the mounting surface. This is a canopy and fittings kit; the profile, suspension sets, LED strips and power supply are chosen separately for the finished light.

Compatible suspensions and fitting

The manufacturer’s sheet lists compatibility with non-conductive LUMINES suspension sets, including versions measuring 1500, 3000 and 5000 mm. The suspension type matters when assembling the light, so use the list of compatible kits when selecting it.

To fit the housing, place it over the bracket with the screw heads facing outward. Slide it towards the edge and tighten the screws as shown in the manufacturer’s installation diagram.
