LUMINES IVO Recessed LED Profile, White Lacquered, 2.02 m

LUMINES IVO 10-1771-20 is a white lacquered aluminium profile for recessed installation in a prepared groove in furniture or interior joinery. This article code identifies a 2.02 m length, equivalent to 2020 mm. Its narrow cross-section and side edges allow a decorative lighting line to be planned without a surface-mounted projecting channel.

Check the section before routing the groove

The profile is 18.4 mm wide overall and 6.5 mm high. The manufacturer's drawing also gives a lower-body width of 14.4 mm and an internal width of 12.5 mm. These are different measurements: the overall width includes the side edges and should not simply be used as the groove width. Compare the section with the furniture construction and available material thickness before machining.

IVO is pushed into the prepared groove. Its low height matters where a deeper recess would interfere with the panel construction. Cable routes and access to the other lighting components still need to be planned; the aluminium channel does not resolve those installation requirements by itself.

LED strip and matching IVO components

The data sheet permits an LED strip up to 12 mm wide. This profile is a lighting-system component, not a complete lamp. A project needs an appropriate strip, compatible power supply and closing components. The power supply is positioned outside the profile. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the chosen strip, rather than the white finish of the aluminium.

The manufacturer lists the compatible LEAN polycarbonate cover in clear, frosted or milky versions, together with end caps with a hole. Select components by their IVO compatibility, not just their colour. The assembly diagram explains the relationship between profile, strip, cover and end caps; it is not a package-contents list for this individual article.

Decorative lighting within furniture

The recessed section can be considered when planning illuminated shelves, cabinets and wardrobe joinery. In a kitchen, it can form part of furniture lighting. Its visible white lacquered edge can be coordinated with white furniture panels, while the overall style depends on the surrounding joinery and the finished lighting line.
