Mantra BIANCA 7838 is a white LED floor lamp distinguished by a tall, shaped acrylic diffuser. An irregular crackle-like surface runs across the curved panel, replacing the familiar silhouette of a fabric lampshade. José Ignacio Ballester pairs that textured element with a straight upright support and a circular base.
Planning space for the smaller BIANCA
Article 7838 stands 153 cm high, with a base diameter of 26 cm. It is the smaller floor-standing version in this family. When comparing collection photographs, check the article number rather than relying on the BIANCA name alone: the larger lamp has different dimensions and proportions. The height of this version is fixed, so the top of the diffuser cannot be lowered or raised on a telescopic stem.
Before placing it beside a sofa, armchair or sideboard, compare the available floor space with the base and plan the cable route. The black supply cable is 1.8 m long. Check the distance to your socket and keep both the base and the lead away from walking routes and opening doors.
Warm-white light with a foot dimmer
The lamp includes a 20 W LED light source with a colour temperature of 3000 K. This is warm-white light rather than a selectable white-temperature setting. Mantra specifies dimming and a foot control, allowing the brightness to be adjusted without changing the light source. There is no separate screw-in bulb to choose for this version.
The official specifications distinguish 1000 lm for the light source from 1200 lm listed as luminaire flux. These figures are not additive and do not describe two brightness settings. Plan the lamp as supplementary floor-standing lighting, not as an adjustable spotlight aimed directly at a book or worktop.
A visible acrylic texture
The white base and straight support provide a restrained backdrop to the patterned diffuser. Close-up photographs show a textured panel, not a smooth glass sheet. Its narrow, asymmetric form suits contemporary living rooms, bedrooms and studies where an additional light also remains a visible part of the furnishings.
