Maytoni Dallas MOD545CL-20B Ceiling Light, Black, Smoked Glass, 20×G9

Maytoni Dallas MOD545CL-20B is a wide ceiling light combining a black metal frame with spherical smoked-glass shades. Branching arms carry twenty light points around a central ceiling canopy, creating an irregular cluster of glass globes rather than a continuous illuminated panel. This is the ceiling-mounted Dallas version, without the long drop of a pendant fitting.

A wide footprint with a short ceiling drop

The overall diameter is 75 cm and the height is 25 cm. Consider these measurements separately when planning its position: the fitting extends only a short distance below the ceiling, but its arms and shades still occupy a broad area. Compare the full outline with nearby furniture and built-in features before choosing the location. A shallow profile does not make this a small-diameter light.

The smoked glass reveals parts of the black arms and reflects its surroundings. That combination of globes and branching metalwork gives the fitting a modern, modernist character. In a living room, bedroom or dining room, its arrangement remains visible when switched off, so placement should account for the glass cluster as well as the light it provides. The central canopy alone is not a useful guide to the space required.

Twenty replaceable G9 light sources

Each position takes a G9 light source rated at a maximum of 28 W. This figure is the permitted wattage per source, not the actual consumption of whichever LED bulbs are chosen. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the fitted light sources; the fixture itself does not establish a single fixed light colour. Matching the specifications across all twenty bulbs helps maintain a consistent appearance throughout the shades.

Mounting and operating information

The light attaches to the ceiling through its central canopy, following the MOD545CL-20B installation drawing. Maytoni specifies 220–240 V AC, protection class I and no dimming. Net weight is 3.5 kg; the 4.7 kg gross figure includes packaging rather than describing the bare fitting. The current manufacturer specification states a five-year warranty.
