Nordlux Dicte 40 white pendant light E27 60 W

Nordlux Dicte 40 is a white pendant with a round, hand-tied pleated cotton shade. The 40 cm shade is paired with metal components and a black cable, so the textile surface remains the dominant visible feature of the fitting.

Size and suspension

The fitting measures 28 cm high, 40 cm wide and 40 cm long. Its cable is 200 cm long; compare that measurement with the ceiling height and with the table or area below before choosing the position. The canopy measures 12 cm. The cable is not replaceable.

Choose the light source separately

Dicte uses one E27 bulb, which is not included. The permitted maximum bulb wattage is 60 W. For dimming, select a dimmable E27 bulb and compatible control equipment. Nordlux specifies 230 V operation, Class 2 double insulation and IP20 protection.

Light through a pleated textile shade

The cotton shade is both pleated and hand-tied. Nordlux describes the light passing through it as soft and diffused. With its 40 cm diameter, the model can be considered above a table or for a defined corner; the chosen E27 bulb and the suspension height determine the final light output and placement.

Before installation

A bulb is not supplied, so decide on its type, wattage and dimming capability separately. The product net weight is 0.94 kg. The white shade and black cable form a deliberate colour contrast, which is worth considering when planning the ceiling position and the visible cable route.
