Nordlux KURNOS 20 black outdoor wall light, E14

The Nordlux KURNOS 20 is a black outdoor wall light with layered disc shades on a short arm. It projects 25.6 cm from the wall, and the shade is 20 cm across. Photographs of the lamp switched on show light leaving through the gap between the shades.

Clearance at the wall

The fitting is 18.2 cm high, 20 cm wide at the shade and 25.6 cm deep. That makes it a low wall light, not a bollard and not a garden lantern. Before fixing it, compare the projection with the free space beside a door frame or a terrace corner. The round backplate sits on the wall, and the arm holds the shades away from the facade.

Nordlux states that parallel connection is possible. If several of these lights share one circuit, that note belongs in the installation plan. The shape of the fitting alone does not show whether each one needs its own supply.

The bulb is bought separately

The lampholder is E14, and the maximum source power is 12 W. No bulb is included. The supply voltage printed by the manufacturer is 220-240 V at 50/60 Hz. Protection class I means the protective earth conductor has to be connected. Colour temperature and luminous flux are not stated, because they depend on the bulb you choose rather than on the fitting itself.

The packaging does not describe dimming. Do not assume that this wall light works with a dimmer when the documentation for this variant does not confirm that function.

Outdoor positions that match the rating

IP54 and the manufacturer's outdoor-use marking support a facade, terrace or balcony. The fitting is intended for water splashes and limited dust ingress. It is not a submersible light, a street luminaire or a tall post for a driveway. At 18.2 cm high it does not belong among garden lanterns.

The installed photograph shows the light on a boarded facade beside a terrace door. That confirms wall mounting at an entrance, not a freestanding position in the garden. Nordlux lists the materials as metal and plastic.

The black KURNOS form

The overlapping black discs recall Scandinavian disc lamps and restrained contemporary facade fittings. The documentation names this colour black. Item number 2118061003 is this KURNOS 20 finish, not the galvanised or sand-coloured relatives in the same family.
