NORLYS Astrid 2221CG cement grey LED garden bollard 2700 K 55 cm

NORLYS Astrid 2221CG is a 55 cm garden bollard with vertical ribs and a square cross-section softened by rounded corners. This cement grey RAL 7033 version uses a powder-coated extruded aluminium body with a milky PMMA diffuser behind the vertical elements. It is designed for fixed ground mounting, not for use as a portable floor lamp.

Warm light at a lower level

The integrated LED produces 2700 K warm white light, diffused through the shade and ribbed enclosure. The complete luminaire delivers 265 lm. Use this figure when comparing the light available around the fitting: the separate 2057 lm figure describes the LED source before light passes through the luminaire.

At 55 cm tall, Astrid can provide low-level lighting beside garden paths, terrace edges and driveways. Spacing should reflect the layout and required illumination rather than treating this bollard as a replacement for a tall street light. Its footprint measures 14 × 14 cm, with additional provision needed for the fixing points and incoming cable.

Phase dimming and professional servicing

Total luminaire power is 14.6 W. TRIAC phase control supports leading-edge and trailing-edge dimming, so a suitable dimmer needs to be considered when planning the electrical installation. Both the LED light source and control gear are replaceable by a professional. Light-source replacement must be carried out by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person, rather than by fitting a standard screw-in bulb.

Plan the fixing before installation

The 220–240 V supply and Class I construction require a protective earth connection. Three 9 mm mounting holes are positioned at 120° intervals on a 65 mm diameter circle. Mounting screws are not included, and the manufacturer's anchors and adapters are purchased separately.

IP65 protection and an IK10 impact rating support outdoor installation. The restrained outline and repeated vertical ribs suit modern, minimalist and Scandinavian garden schemes, while the cement grey finish identifies this specific colour variant rather than a black or graphite alternative.
