Astrid 2207GR is a 55 cm Norlys bollard built from an extruded aluminium profile, 14 × 14 cm with rounded corners. Vertical fluting runs the full height, and the housing is powder-coated graphite (RAL 7016). Light comes out through an opal PMMA diffuser in the upper part of the bollard.
What light it gives
The Osram LED module gives 2700 K, a very warm, yellowish white close to a traditional bulb. The module itself is rated at 1462 lm, and the complete luminaire draws 10.6 W; the opal diffuser spreads the light around the bollard without a sharp pool. CRI 80 is enough to tell paving and plant colours apart, and the flicker figures (Pst max. 1, SVM max. 0.4) mean light without visible flicker or stroboscopic effect.
The bollard has a built-in driver and is phase-dimmable — it works with both leading-edge (LE) and trailing-edge (TE) dimmers. Norlys states an LED module life of over 70,000 h (L80B50) and a driver life of 100,000 h.
Mounting and connection
The base has three ø9 mm holes set at 120° on a ø65 mm circle. The concrete anchor (205), ground anchor (206), concrete foundation adapter (206S) and mounting adapter 3080GA are sold separately. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and allow the next luminaire to be looped through at the same cross-section; the cable can be up to 12.5 mm in diameter.
On a longer run of bollards the inrush current matters: Norlys states that one B10 breaker carries 46 luminaires, B16 75, C10 74 and C16 120. This is a protection class I luminaire, so it needs a protective earth conductor. It weighs 4.3 kg net.
Where it fits
IP65 lets the bollard stand outdoors without cover, in rain and under a water jet, and IK10 means a housing that withstands strong impacts — useful along driveways and streets. The bollard is intended for gardens, terraces and lining driveways and streets. The fluted, geometric body combines modern design with Scandinavian simplicity. The Astrid series also includes the taller 2208 version, 85 cm high.
