Norlys Geneva 1878GR outdoor LED wall light – graphite, 2700 K

Norlys Geneva 1878GR is a graphite outdoor wall light with a rectangular backplate and a projecting central shield. Its light travels upwards and downwards, highlighting the wall behind the fitting rather than producing a single forward-facing beam. The GR version has a RAL 7016 finish, not a white housing.

Up-and-down light for a façade

The integrated LED module produces warm white light at 2700 K. The complete luminaire delivers 648 lm. This is distinct from the higher light-source flux also shown in the manufacturer's documentation: when comparing fittings, use the output of the assembled luminaire. The two-way distribution highlights the wall both above and below the light.

Total power consumption is 8.2 W. The fitting supports trailing-edge phase dimming, so a dimmer must be selected for that control method if brightness adjustment is part of the installation. This is not an E27 version with a user-replaceable bulb. Replacement of the LED module and electronic control gear is work for a professional service technician.

Check the wall space

The housing measures 21 cm across and 31 cm high, with a projection of 9.5 cm from the wall. Compare those dimensions with the available space before positioning it beside an opening door or along a narrow passage. Suitable uses include façade lighting and exterior walls bordering a terrace or balcony. This is an architectural wall fitting, not a garden bollard or a floodlight intended to cover a broad area.

Materials and electrical installation

The powder-coated cast-aluminium body is paired with a satin-finished, UV-stabilised polycarbonate diffuser. Its flat planes and restrained geometry suit modern and minimalist façades. Protection is rated IP65 and impact resistance IK08. A qualified electrician should mount the fitting and connect it to the 220–240 V supply. The installation documents specify two 5 mm fixing holes and a round cable measuring 7–10.5 mm in diameter. Correct cable entry through the gasket matters for maintaining the stated protection rating.
