NORLYS Molde DC1899CG LED outdoor bollard 80 cm 7.2 W 2700 K cement grey

NORLYS Molde DC1899CG is an 80 cm outdoor LED bollard designed for access paths, terraces and pedestrian routes. Its slim painted cast-aluminium body has a cement-grey finish, while the curved head shields the light from above. The fitting operates on a 24 V DC installation and is built to electrical protection class III.

Dimensions and placement beside a path

The rectangular body measures 11 cm across, 16.5 cm deep and 80 cm high. It occupies little space at the edge of paving, while placing the light above the level of low ground fittings. The manufacturer specifies surface mounting; the fixing-hole spacing is 18 × 50 mm, and the installation guide shows separate accessory solutions for timber and concrete.

Fixing screws for the supporting surface are not supplied, so they must be selected to suit the substrate. A separately purchased anchoring base can be used when the bollard is installed in the ground. Operation at 24 V DC requires a compatible low-voltage supply to be planned before installation.

Warm light directed towards the ground

The integrated LED light source is included in the luminaire. It consumes 7.2 W, produces 435 lm and has a colour temperature of 2700 K, giving a warm, slightly yellow-toned light. CRI 80 describes colour rendering, while SDCM3 limits visible colour variation between light points.

The head screens the light from above and spreads the output towards the surface below. A B0-U1-G0 rating and an upward light output ratio of 2.89% describe the limited emission above the fitting. Molde is therefore intended to mark a route and illuminate the immediate area around the bollard, rather than flood a large space.

Construction for outdoor use

The housing is made from painted cast aluminium and the clear, structured diffuser from polycarbonate. IP54 protection covers dust in quantities that could interfere with operation and splashing water; IK07 states the enclosure’s mechanical impact resistance. The LED source may only be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person.
