Nova Nook BOCHIC swivel lounge chair, brown-grey

BOCHIC by Nova Nook is a brown-grey upholstered lounge chair with a swivel base. Its low, rounded seat meets a shaped backrest without armrests. A horizontal recess across the back adds definition to the curved outline, while visibly textured fabric continues over the sides and rear.

Check the sitting height, not just the overall height

The seat sits 40 cm above the floor, whereas the chair's overall height is 73 cm. These measurements answer different questions when planning a seating area. Compare the seat level with a sofa or chair you already use rather than treating the overall height as the sitting height.

BOCHIC measures 82 cm wide and 83 cm deep overall. This is the space occupied by the whole chair, not the dimensions of the usable seat alone. Allow additional space around it when positioning it beside a sofa or side table, and keep the route past the furniture clear. The low back does not take the form of a tall headrest.

A swivel function beneath a rounded body

The swivel base lets you change your facing direction by turning the chair. It sits low beneath the upholstery, so the seat, rather than an exposed set of legs, dominates the front view. Leave clearance at the sides as well as in front to accommodate rotation.

The brown-grey colour and continuous rounded surfaces suit a modern living-room seating area. It can also provide a separate seat in a bedroom where space permits. Its appearance comes from the proportions, textured upholstery and curved back, rather than decorative hardware or a prominently exposed frame.
