Nowodvorski FOURTY S 10882 surface-mounted ceiling light – brass, GU10 R35

The Nowodvorski FOURTY S 10882 is a surface-mounted ceiling light with a slender cylindrical body made from solid brass. Its tube measures 18.5 cm high and only 4 cm across, with the light opening at the bottom. This is a single ceiling lighting point, rather than a suspended pendant or a wall light.

A narrow brass cylinder below the ceiling

Without a broad shade or hanging cable, the fitting introduces a distinct vertical line. Its plain geometry suits modern interiors, while the brass surface can be coordinated with other metal details. Allow for the full 18.5 cm projection when planning its position: the small diameter does not make this a flat ceiling fitting.

Nowodvorski notes that solid brass can show slight differences in colour and surface appearance caused by processing and natural oxidation. This is worth considering when ordering several lights to sit alongside one another.

Choose a GU10 R35 LED bulb separately

The fitting takes one replaceable GU10 R35 LED bulb, rated at no more than 10 W. No bulb is supplied. The R35 format matters in this narrow housing, so check the bulb format as well as its GU10 cap before buying a light source.

Brightness, colour temperature and beam angle depend on the bulb you choose. The 10 W limit is not an included LED module or a stated light output. The package contains the luminaire and instructions; electrical connection should be carried out by a qualified installer.

Place light where it is needed

The manufacturer identifies kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms as settings for task or accent lighting. A hallway is another appropriate use for this compact ceiling point. Match its location and the selected bulb to the surface you want to illuminate rather than assuming one light will cover the whole room. For a consistent appearance across several fittings, choose matching light sources. Direct ceiling mounting means there is no pendant cable from which to adjust the installation height.
