Nowodvorski MEKONG 4418 outdoor wall light, black, E27

Nowodvorski MEKONG 4418 is a black outdoor wall light with a cylindrical lacquered-aluminium body and a glass cover. Four rows of horizontal openings reveal the glass around the lower part of the cylinder, while the underside also allows light to emerge. This is the 20 cm-high version with one E27 socket, rather than the taller fitting in the same collection.

A replaceable bulb, purchased separately

The fitting requires an E27 LED bulb rated at no more than 10 W. A bulb is not included, and the light source is replaceable. The power figure is the maximum permitted bulb wattage: it does not describe an integrated LED module or guarantee a particular brightness.

Choose the light colour and output when selecting your bulb. The illuminated product photograph shows the side openings and lower glass, but it does not specify the performance of a bulb supplied with your order. Comparing the bulb's luminous flux and colour temperature is therefore more useful than choosing solely by its wattage.

Wall clearance and outdoor placement

The body measures 20 cm high and projects 16 cm from the wall. Check that projection against the available space beside a passage or the swing of a nearby door before deciding where to mount it. Its cylindrical shape and restrained horizontal divisions suit modern and minimalist façade designs.

The manufacturer designates MEKONG for outdoor use. On a façade, terrace, balcony or gazebo wall, choose a sheltered position compatible with its IP42 rating. That rating does not mean the fitting is dust-tight or protected against rain from every direction. It should not be treated as suitable for unrestricted exposure to all weather conditions.

Package contents and installation

The package contains the fitting, instructions, installation instructions and a mounting kit. MEKONG uses direct surface mounting and a ~220–230 V, 50/60 Hz supply. Electrical connection should be carried out by an appropriately qualified installer. The manual recommends cleaning with a damp cloth only after switching off the light and letting it cool; leave it switched off until it has dried completely.
