Nowodvorski POINT PLEXI L 6530 is a black surface-mounted ceiling light with a cylindrical painted-steel body and a white PMMA plastic cover. Its round lower face visually closes the tube rather than leaving the bulb exposed. This is the 20 cm-high version, designed for one replaceable E27 light source.
A cylinder directly below the ceiling
The body is 12.7 cm wide and mounts directly to the supporting surface. Unlike a pendant, it does not hang from a cable: its full height occupies space immediately below the ceiling. Before choosing a position, compare that height with your ceiling clearance and the movement of nearby doors or tall cupboard doors. These measurements describe the fitting, not its shipping box.
The main black finish is designated P013, RAL 9005. The uninterrupted steel cylinder contrasts with the white lower cover, giving the fitting a simple geometric appearance. It can sit within modern, modernist or Scandinavian interiors where a restrained ceiling fitting is preferred to a large decorative shade.
Choose the bulb separately
The single E27 socket takes a bulb rated at no more than 20 W. No bulb is supplied. Brightness and colour temperature therefore depend on the light source you purchase, rather than being fixed by the POINT PLEXI name. Check the cap, wattage and physical dimensions of the bulb so that it fits inside the body.
Consider it as ceiling lighting for a living room, bedroom, dining room, kitchen areas away from moisture, hallway or home study. The number of fittings required depends on the room and the bulbs selected. A single socket does not establish that one fitting will adequately light an entire room.
Installation and what arrives
The package contains the fitting, instructions and a mounting kit. Connection to a ~220–230 V installation should be carried out by an authorised installer; this is a class I fitting. Switch it off and allow it to cool before cleaning, and keep moisture away from its electrical connections when wiping the surface.
