SLV DOWNUNDER OUT LED S, item 233601, is a white outdoor recessed wall light. The face is 9 cm wide and 9 cm high. Light leaves a slot and is directed downward. The body is aluminium. This is the small size in the family, not a surface wall light and not a ground spike.

The SMD source is built in. It is rated 1.7 W, 65 lm and 3000 K, with CRI 80. The stated service life is 25,000 h. 65 lm makes a small warm patch under the fitting. It will not light a drive, a terrace or a long path as the only source. The colour is fixed: the product page states there is no CCT switch, so it cannot be changed to 4000 K.

Cut-out and mounting pot

A mounting pot is included. The cut-out is 8 cm by 7.5 cm, and the installation depth is 7 cm. The drawing shows the face projecting 1.5 cm in front of the wall line and 6 cm of body behind it. Those are the figures for cutting the opening, not a separate 5 cm depth on the data sheet that the drawing does not label with the same number. The 9 by 9 cm face is square; the 8 by 7.5 cm opening is not.

Connection is to 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz mains. Safety class I requires a protective earth. The sheet also lists a secondary current of 300 mA; that is not a separate driver to buy. The stated ambient range is -25°C to 50°C. Net weight is 0.253 kg and gross weight is 0.296 kg.

An exterior wall, not a pool

IP55 limits dust ingress and protects against water jets. The producer specifies outdoor use. It is not a rating for immersion or a pool. IK02 means impact resistance of 0.2 J, so the sheet does not describe the fitting as vandal-resistant.

The official photograph shows these fittings recessed in a low garden wall beside steps, with light cast downward onto a tread. That is facade or low-wall accent, not a light above a door for recognising a face. The plain white face, without ornament, is modern and minimalist. The listed weighted consumption is 2 kWh per 1,000 h.
