Outdoor Spotlight on Stand NORLYS Moss 6483GR graphite LED 8.4 W 3000 K 119 cm

Moss 6483GR is a garden spotlight on its own stand: a cylindrical LED head mounted on a slim stainless-steel pole that rises from a flat, round base. The head is powder-coated cast aluminium in graphite (RAL 7016), closed at the front by clear safety glass. The LED module is built in, so no bulb is needed.

Size and connection

The lamp is 119 cm tall with a 20 cm base; the head projects beyond it, so from above the fitting takes up 22.4 cm. It stands freely on its base, with no foundation or anchor, so it can be moved between flower bed, terrace and house wall. It weighs 2.89 kg and ships in a 21 × 10 × 118 cm carton.

Power comes through a 5 m H05RN-F 3G1 cable ending in a 16 A 250 V 2P+E plug rated IP65, so no fixed wiring is needed. The socket has to be within reach of the cable and earthed, because the spotlight is protection class I. Clamps, the mounting adapter 6729XX0009 and the connection box 145ZX0009 are sold separately.

How much light it gives

The integrated LED module is rated 8 W; the complete fitting draws 8.4 W and delivers 687 lm (the module alone 840 lm). 3000 K is a warm white, and CRI 80 is the level typical of outdoor lighting. The beam is symmetrical with a 36° angle: from 1 m away the pool of light is about 72 cm across, from 3 m about 2.2 m. These figures help to choose the distance from a tree or wall; the head also tilts in the vertical plane.

Brightness can be adjusted with a phase dimmer, either trailing-edge or leading-edge.

Durability, service and use

Rated IP65, the spotlight can stay out in the rain without a cover, and its impact resistance is IK06. It operates from −20 to +45 °C. Norlys quotes an L70 lifetime of 59,000 h (70% of the initial flux remains after that time); the LED module is replaced only by a professional Norlys service. The light source has energy efficiency class E.

A portable stand suits spots where the lighting changes with the season: a tree, a flower bed, the terrace, the façade or the driveway, also in hotel and restaurant gardens. The plain form – pole, base and a cylindrical head without ornament – suits modern, minimalist architecture.
