Nowodvorski ANA 10499 is a black outdoor wall light shaped as an upright lantern on a short arm. Lacquered aluminium forms the frame and roof, while clear PC polycarbonate panels leave the bulb visible. Its tapered body, shaped finials and round wall plate give it the proportions and detailing of a traditional lantern.
Check the space around the fitting
The light measures 26 cm high and 13 cm wide, with a projection of 15 cm from the wall. Before choosing its position, compare these measurements with the available facade area and the swing of nearby doors or shutters. This is a wall-mounted fitting, not a freestanding garden lantern for placing beside a path.
Its stated outdoor use and IP44 rating support installation beside an entrance, on a terrace wall or on a balcony. The lantern shape is particularly suited to traditional facades and retro schemes. The same design approach can also be used at the outdoor entrance to a hotel or restaurant.
Choose the bulb separately
A single E27 holder takes an LED bulb only, rated at no more than 10 W. The bulb is not included. With transparent panels, the bulb's appearance matters as well as its light colour: both remain part of the visible result. Check the chosen bulb's lumen output when deciding on brightness; the fitting's maximum wattage does not specify a particular amount of light.
The replaceable light source can be changed later without replacing the entire fitting. The illuminated photograph is an example of use, not a promise of a supplied bulb or a fixed light colour.
Installation and supplied parts
ANA operates at ~220–230 V and is a Class I fitting requiring a protective earth connection. It uses a mounting bracket, and the manufacturer supplies a mounting kit and instructions. Electrical connection must be carried out by a suitably qualified person. IP44 provides protection against splashing water, not immersion or cleaning with a high-pressure water jet.
