Molde 2026CG is an outdoor LED wall light with a distinctly angled silhouette: the body leaves the wall at a slant and curls over at the top into a horizontal head that shines downwards. The housing is cast aluminium powder-coated in cement grey, and the underside of the head carries a clear, textured polycarbonate diffuser stabilised against UV.

Dimensions and wall mounting

The light is 30 cm high and 11 cm wide, and the head projects 23 cm from the wall – a figure to check next to a door that opens towards the fitting or beside a narrow path. It weighs 1.15 kg and is screwed on through two ø6 mm holes spaced 90 mm apart. Fixings and other accessories are sold separately.

The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and up to 3 × 1.5 mm² for loop-through, so several lights on one façade can share a single supply line. The cable gland accepts round sheathed cable of 6–10 mm diameter. It is a protection class I luminaire, so it must be connected to a protective earth.

What light it gives

The integrated LED module draws 8 W. The module itself produces 743 lm, and 386 lm leave the luminaire – the rest is held back by the top cover and the textured diffuser. That is enough to light an entrance, the steps in front of a house or a section of wall, not a whole yard. 3000 K is a warm white, and CRI 80 is the usual colour rendering for outdoor lighting.

The light is diffused and shielded from above: 2% of the flux goes skywards (ULOR) and the BUG rating is B0-U1-G0. The light can be dimmed with a phase dimmer, either trailing-edge or leading-edge.

Durability and service

With IP54 the light can hang on a wall without a canopy, and IK07 means the housing withstands moderate impacts. It operates at temperatures from −20 to +45 °C. Norlys quotes a module life of over 55,000 h (L70); the LED module may only be replaced by a professional service, and the repair kit ZS2026zx0009 is available as a spare part.

Norlys designed Molde for private grounds, parks and architectural projects. To order, the model is also made in 2700 K and in other RAL colours; a different height is not available.
