Outdoor wall light NORLYS Lillehammer 2295GR graphite LED 4 W 2700 K IP65 dimmable

Lillehammer 2295GR is an outdoor wall light shaped as a closed rectangular block of cast aluminium, powder-coated in graphite (RAL 7016). Its only light window, covered with optical safety glass, sits in the top face of the housing, so the fitting shines upwards only.

How it lights and what it is for

The manufacturer specifies one-sided light at a 4° angle pointing up and a ULOR of 100%, so all of the light leaves above the fitting. The LED module produces 504 lm, but after passing through such a narrow optic 14 lm leave the luminaire. That figure does not mean a weak source: the beam is concentrated into a narrow vertical stripe on the wall above the light.

Lillehammer 2295GR will therefore not light an entrance, steps or a path below it. Norlys intends it for lighting up walls, facades and architectural details – several units at equal spacing create a rhythm of vertical light stripes across a facade.

Colour of light and dimming

2700 K is warm, slightly yellowish light close to a traditional incandescent bulb, with colour rendering of CRI 80. The luminaire draws 4 W, of which 2.8 W goes to the LED module. It is phase-dimmable; the manufacturer specifies trailing-edge (TE) operation, so the circuit needs a dimmer of that type.

The light source is an integrated LED module with an electronic driver inside the housing. The user does not replace it, but the module and control gear can be replaced by a professional service – the manufacturer lists service kit ZS2295zx0009 for this light. Driver lifetime is stated as 50,000 h.

Dimensions and installation

The light is 18.5 cm tall and 8 cm wide and projects 11 cm from the wall. It fixes through two ø5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm and weighs 1.57 kg.

The terminals accept conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and further lights can be looped through with conductors up to 3 × 1.5 mm² – so a row of fittings along a facade needs only one supply run. The cable gland takes round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter. The luminaire is protection class I and must be connected to the protective earth.

The housing is rated IP65 with IK08 impact resistance, so the light can hang on a wall without a canopy, exposed to rain and water jets. A silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland keep it sealed.
