Mandal 1373GA is an outdoor wall light with a rounded steel body that shines downwards only. Front and base are hot-dip galvanised steel, left unpainted, with the visible crystalline pattern of the zinc coating. The LED GU10 lamp is included, so the light works as soon as it is connected.
What light it gives
The box contains a Philips MASTER LED ExpertColor 3.9 W GU10 lamp with a colour temperature of 2700 K and a 25° beam. This warm, slightly yellowish light leaves through clear safety glass in a focused downward beam: the luminaire delivers 250 lm and sends nothing upwards (ULOR 0%, BUG B0-U0-G0). A colour rendering index of CRI 97 means the facade and paving keep almost their daylight colours under it.
It can be dimmed with a trailing-edge or leading-edge phase dimmer. The lamp is replaced by the user — only an LED source with a GU10 base fits, and Norlys lists it as spare part 46102507.
Dimensions and mounting
The light is 9.2 cm wide and 10.5 cm high, projects 12.2 cm from the wall and weighs 0.89 kg. It is fixed through two ø4.2 mm holes at 45 mm spacing. For mounting on the corner of a building there is the 130XX0009 corner bracket, sold separately.
The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and loop-through wiring — feeding the next luminaire from the same cable — up to 3 × 1.5 mm². The cable needs a round sheath of 7–10.5 mm diameter. The luminaire is protection class I, so it must be connected to a protective earth.
Where it can go
Norlys designed Mandal for lighting private grounds and public areas — a facade, a hotel or a restaurant. IP44 protects it against splashing water from any direction, and IK08 impact resistance against an accidental knock. It operates from −20 to +45 °C. The plain, rounded form without ornament suits modern architecture.
