Outdoor Wall Light NORLYS Mandal 1374GA hot-dip galvanised GU10 max 4 W down, lamp not included

Mandal 1374GA is an outdoor wall light with a rounded steel body that shines downwards only. Front and base are hot-dip galvanised steel, left unpainted, with the visible crystalline pattern of the zinc coating. The light comes without a light source: the LED GU10 lamp has to be bought separately.

Which lamp to choose

The luminaire takes an LED lamp with a GU10 base in PAR16 format, up to 4 W — Norlys allows no other type of source. On order, Norlys supplies it together with a dimmable Philips Master LED ExpertColor lamp, 265 lm / 3.9 W / 2700 K / 25°. Colour and brightness are therefore your choice; 2700 K is a warm, slightly yellowish light.

The light leaves through clear safety glass downwards only, and nothing goes upwards (ULOR 0%, BUG B0-U0-G0). The datasheet describes the distribution as a 25° beam — the angle of the lamp Norlys proposes for this luminaire. The user replaces the source without calling a service.

Dimensions and mounting

The light is 9.2 cm wide and 10.5 cm high, projects 12.2 cm from the wall and weighs 0.85 kg. It is fixed through two ø4.2 mm holes at 45 mm spacing. For mounting on the corner of a building there is the 130XX0009 corner bracket, sold separately.

The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and loop-through wiring — feeding the next luminaire from the same cable — up to 3 × 1.5 mm². The cable needs a round sheath of 7–10.5 mm diameter. The luminaire is protection class I, so it must be connected to a protective earth.

Where it can go

Norlys designed Mandal for lighting private grounds and public areas — a facade, a hotel or a restaurant. IP44 protects it against splashing water from any direction, and IK08 impact resistance against an accidental knock. It operates from −20 to +45 °C. The plain, rounded form without ornament suits modern architecture.
