Vasa 127WH is an outdoor wall light shaped as a low, curved band of cast aluminium, powder-coated white (RAL 9003). Light leaves through a clear, textured diffuser of UV-stabilised polycarbonate in two directions — up and down — drawing two bright bands on the wall. An E27 LED bulb is included.

Size and mounting

The light is 31 cm wide and 12.5 cm high and projects 15.5 cm from the wall. It weighs 2.45 kg. It can be fixed through an intermediate plate with two 5 × 10 mm adjustment slots 45 mm apart, or straight to the wall through two ø5 mm holes 68 mm apart — the slots let you level the fitting after drilling.

The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and the next fitting can be fed in a loop with cable up to 3 × 1.5 mm², so several lights on one facade run from a single supply line. The gland takes round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter. The fitting is protection class I and must be connected to a protective earth.

Light source and dimming

The fitting runs on the included Philips E27 LED bulb, 5.9 W at 2700 K — warm, slightly yellow light close to a traditional bulb. The bulb itself gives 806 lm, and 384 lm leaves the fitting. The manufacturer gives a ULOR of 50%, meaning half the light goes up and half down — a light for picking out a wall and an entrance rather than lighting a driveway.

The user replaces the bulb, and the socket takes an E27 source in the A55–A60 shape up to 110 mm long and up to 9 W LED. The fitting is phase-dimmable with both trailing-edge (TE) and leading-edge (LE) dimmers. The manufacturer gives a bulb lifetime of L70 over 25,000 h.

Durability and use

IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction, and IK08 means resistance to a 5 J impact, so the light can hang on an exposed outside wall. The gasket and the bulb are available as spare parts. The manufacturer intends the fitting for lighting walls and facades, and the white body blends into light render so that only the bands of light stand out.
