Outdoor Wall Light NORLYS Voss 1955AL light grey LED 10.2 W 3000 K upward

Voss 1955AL is an outdoor wall light shaped as a square-edged, box-like block of cast aluminium, powder-coated in light grey RAL 9006. It shines upwards only, in a wide 62° beam, through a clear safety-glass window. Two LED modules and the driver are built in, so no lamp is needed.

What light it gives

All of the flux goes upwards (ULOR 100%, BUG rating B0-U3-G0): the light washes the wall above the fitting in a broad spread and leaves the ground below unlit. That is worth checking wherever rules limit light directed at the sky. The luminaire draws 10.2 W and delivers 598 lm, i.e. 58.6 lm/W – the modules themselves total 1444 lm.

3000 K is a warm white, and CRI 80 is typical colour rendering for outdoor lighting. Dimming requires a trailing-edge phase dimmer – the driver is a Philips Xitanium TE rated for 50,000 h. The light source has energy efficiency class C.

Dimensions and mounting

The body is 18 cm high and 16 cm wide and projects 27 cm from the wall – compare the projection with the space left for walking past. The light weighs 4.56 kg. It is fixed through two ø7 mm holes at 100 × 80 mm spacing, following the enclosed instructions.

The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², or up to 3 × 1.5 mm² when looped through, so several lights can run from one supply line. The fitting is protection class I and needs a protective earth; installation is for a qualified electrician.

Durability and service

IP54 means protection against dust and splashing water from any direction, and IK06 resistance to an impact of 1 J. The LED modules keep 90% of their flux after 52,600 h (L90) and 80% after 102,000 h (L80).
