ATOLLO is a pendant with three light points hanging on cords of different lengths from a single round ceiling plate. Each point is a small white metal cylinder with an open cage of metal rods below it, leaving the bulb fully visible. The frame and the shades are metal, finished in white.
How big it is and where to hang it
The cluster occupies 30 × 30 cm, staying within the outline of the ceiling plate — a measurement to compare with the width of the table or island it is meant for. The full height including the suspension is 120 cm, and the cords are shortened during installation.
Over a table the drop is usually set so the lower edge of the lowest cage sits 70–80 cm above the top, where the light covers the table surface without shining into the eyes of anyone seated. The differing cord lengths are part of the design, so the three points will not hang level with each other.
What bulbs it needs
The fitting takes three E27 bulbs and none are supplied — three have to be bought. The manufacturer states a maximum lamp power of 60 W. Colour and brightness are therefore yours to choose: an old 60 W incandescent gave around 800 lm, and 2700–3000 K, a warm light, is the usual pick for a dining room.
The cage is open rather than closed, so the bulb is visible from every side and its shape becomes part of how the lamp looks. A clear decorative bulb shows the filament; a frosted one diffuses the light and hides it.
Construction and mounting
Frame, ceiling plate and shades are white-painted metal. Gross weight is 1.85 kg, so the fitting hangs from an ordinary ceiling fixing; a plasterboard ceiling needs a fixing into the supporting structure. The manufacturer intends it for indoor use only.
