Paul Neuhaus Yuki 6024-55 is a steel-toned ceiling light with two square frames and a central star-effect panel. The integrated LED sources are included; screw-in bulbs do not need to be purchased for this fitting.
Open frame centres leave the ceiling visible, with light following their outlines. Partly overlapping elements create several lines at different levels rather than one closed shade surface. Viewed from below, both the illuminated edges and the spaces between them remain visible. The arrangement of the frames is part of the fitting’s appearance even when the light is off.
Dimensions and ceiling space
The fitting measures 67 × 67 cm in plan and has an overall height of 5 cm. Compare these dimensions with the available ceiling area and the clearance from opening doors or tall furniture. The body is mounted close to the ceiling, so its height describes how far it projects into the room, rather than the length of a suspension.
Colour, brightness and control
The remote control is included and adjusts brightness and colour temperature from 2700 to 5000 K. The lower end gives warm, slightly yellowish light, while the upper end produces cooler white. Brightness adjustment and white-tone selection are separate functions. Memory retains the last setting for the next use.
The remote can switch on the star-effect panel alone, the frames alone or all areas together. White colour temperature can be adjusted for each area.
The complete fitting delivers 3550 lm. This is the useful figure for comparing the brightness of finished lights because it accounts for the light leaving the body. Dimming reduces that output whenever full brightness is not needed.
The complete lamp draws 57 W. This figure describes its energy consumption in operation, while the amount of emitted light is expressed in lumens. These are two different pieces of information when comparing fittings.
