The Quintiesse Porter Small is a compact exterior wall lantern with an architectural, deliberately detailed profile. Its Aged Zinc aluminium body, clear glass, exposed rivets and sturdy hanging loop bring together a rustic edge and an industrial note. At 336 mm high, 140 mm wide and 163 mm deep, it can make a neat single entrance light or form a balanced pair on either side of a door.

Light source and build

• one replaceable E27 lamp, maximum 60 W, or an LED equivalent
• bulb not included; the manufacturer recommends a tubular filament style
• durable aluminium construction with clear glass
• IP44 rating and 230 V supply

Because the glass is transparent, the chosen bulb remains visible and becomes part of the design. A warm LED lamp gives an inviting pool of light around an entrance, while a decorative filament lamp can emphasise Porter’s farmhouse-meets-industrial character. Selecting the bulb separately also lets the fitting suit the required ambience without implying that a lamp is supplied.

Placement and style

This outdoor wall light is suited to an entrance wall, covered terrace, gate area or a run of fittings along the façade. Its IP44 rating supports use on exterior walls. The small format is especially useful where a large lantern would overwhelm the elevation, and larger Porter family versions are available for a coordinated scheme.

Porter carries a three-year anti-corrosion warranty from the manufacturer, excluding locations within five miles of the coast.
