QUILLOTA is a small outdoor wall light shaped like a cube with rounded edges, finished in white throughout. Light does not leave through the front: a narrow slot runs along each of the four side faces, and the beams draw a cross on the wall. The LED is built in and comes with the fitting.
How big it is and where it fits
The body is 6.5 cm high and 5.5 cm wide, and it stands 6.5 cm out from the wall. That last figure is the one to compare with the space left in a door reveal or in a narrow passage along the facade. At 5.5 cm wide it fits on an ordinary fence post.
The fitting sits flat against the wall on its whole back plate, with no arm and no bracket, so it can go right next to a door frame. IP54 covers dust and splashing water from any direction, which is why it can hang unsheltered — on a facade, on a fence or on a balcony.
How much light it gives
Four 1 W diodes work inside, together producing 265 lm at 3000 K: warm, slightly yellow light close to a traditional incandescent bulb. An old 60 W bulb gave around 800 lm, so QUILLOTA is accent lighting — it draws the wall and marks an entrance, but it will not light a driveway or a garden.
The source is integrated, so no bulb has to be bought and none can be replaced once it is spent; the whole fitting is changed instead. It runs on 230 V straight from the mains, with no separate driver.
Construction
The manufacturer lists aluminium and glass as the materials. The whole body is white, including the edges of the four slots, and the front closes with a shallow round recess carrying no lettering or ornament.
