Recessed downlight SLV NUMINOS Move DL M black/white 17.55W 3000K 1003581

SLV NUMINOS MOVE DL M 1003581 is a round recessed LED downlight in black and white. A black outer ring frames the movable light module, keeping the visible ceiling fitting compact rather than projecting a spotlight into the room. Its construction uses aluminium and polycarbonate, with a restrained geometric appearance suited to modern and minimalist interiors.

A beam you can aim after installation

The 40° beam directs light towards a selected area rather than spreading it like a diffuse ceiling light. Horizontal rotation of up to 355° and a tilt range of up to 24° let you adjust its direction once the fitting is installed. This is useful when highlighting a picture, furniture surface or part of a display: the ceiling opening does not have to sit directly above the illuminated detail. Allow for the available adjustment when deciding where each fitting belongs.

This version combines warm-white 3000 K light with a luminous flux of 1600 lm and CRI 90. These figures provide a basis for planning accent lighting; its power consumption is 17.55 W. It can form part of a zoned lighting scheme in a living room, dining room or bedroom, or highlight selected details in a shop, restaurant or hotel. The number of fittings and their spacing should be determined for the actual room.

Check the ceiling before choosing

The outer diameter is 13.5 cm, but the round cut-out must be 12 cm across. The fitting itself is 9 cm high, and SLV specifies an installation depth of 10 cm. Compare these dimensions with the ceiling construction and follow the clearances in the installation instructions. Ventilation must be maintained, and insulation must not cover the fitting. This downlight is intended for recessed ceiling installation indoors.

Driver selection and servicing

Operation requires a suitable constant-current LED driver with a 500 mA output; the downlight is not connected directly to the mains. Control and any dimming depend on the chosen driver. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the LED source is replaceable only by a professional. For cleaning, disconnect the power and let the fitting cool, then wipe only its outside surfaces with a cloth lightly dampened with water.
