Rendl BRAN FRAMELESS R13605 white trimless recessed light GU10 IP65

Rendl BRAN FRAMELESS R13605 is a white trimless recessed light with one GU10 socket. Its circular recess remains visible in the finished ceiling, while the perforated mounting flange is covered during finishing. It is intended for lighting plans that call for a recessed point without a decorative trim sitting on the ceiling surface.

Allow for the fitting before finishing the ceiling

The manufacturer specifies installation in plasterboard ceilings. The fitting diameter is 12.5 cm, the mounting opening is 8 cm and the required recess depth is 14 cm. These dimensions describe different parts of the installation. Before ordering, check both the prepared opening and the space available above the board: a matching cut-out diameter does not by itself establish that the full assembly will fit.

The instructions show the flange being secured and covered as part of the ceiling finishing process. BRAN therefore needs to be considered during ceiling work rather than treated as a conventional spotlight with an overlapping trim. A qualified installer must make the electrical connection with the power isolated.

Choose the bulb to define the light

This 230 V fitting accepts one LED GU10 bulb rated up to 15 W. The bulb is not included. The power figure is the permitted lamp limit, not a fixed consumption or brightness rating for the fitting. Colour temperature, light output and beam angle are determined by the bulb you select.

Dimming is possible with a suitable light source. If adjustable output is part of the plan, the bulb and its control also need to be compatible. A replaceable bulb allows the light characteristics to be changed later without replacing the whole recessed fitting.

Bathroom lighting with restrained detailing

Rendl identifies this version as an IP65 bathroom downlight. Its exact position must still comply with the installation zone and applicable electrical requirements; the IP marking alone does not settle placement. The plain white circular form suits modern and minimalist interiors. In a living room, kitchen or hallway, BRAN can form part of a wider lighting layout, with the number and spacing of fittings selected for the room and the chosen bulbs.
