Rendl FLAVIO SQ R14592 black outdoor spotlight LED 6 W 3000 K IP54

Rendl FLAVIO SQ R14592 is a black outdoor spotlight for surface mounting on a wall or ceiling. Its square head tilts relative to the base, allowing the light direction to be adjusted rather than fixed by the mounting surface. This version has an integrated 6 W LED light source with a warm white colour temperature of 3000 K.

Wall or ceiling installation

The manufacturer specifies both mounting positions. FLAVIO SQ can therefore be considered for a facade, a terrace ceiling or a covered entrance, depending on the available mounting surface. Its IP54 rating supports the intended outdoor use. This is not a recessed fitting or a ground-spike spotlight: the base sits on the surface of the wall or ceiling.

The square front measures 9 × 9 cm. When checking the available space, allow for the head to move as well as for the width of the fitting itself. The 90° tilt range lets you adapt the direction to the fixture position and the surface to be illuminated.

Warm light with a broad beam

Rendl specifies a luminous flux of 640 lm and a beam angle of 110°. This produces a broad beam rather than the narrow spot used to pick out a small detail. Consider both the distance to the illuminated surface and the head angle when planning the installation. The 3000 K colour temperature remains warm white whichever direction is selected.

The LED source is already included, so a separate bulb is not required. The fitting operates at 230 V, and the manufacturer confirms that the transformer is supplied. Installation must be carried out by a qualified installer in accordance with the manual, with the power disconnected. The manual requires a minimum distance of 0.2 m from the illuminated object.

A square, black architectural fitting

The black housing, square front and visible separation between the fixed base and tilting head give the fixture a modern, minimalist appearance. R14592 identifies the black version; the light grey FLAVIO SQ has a different article number. Check that distinction when specifying several fittings for the same facade.
