Rendl HEX R11912 is an E27 pendant suspension rather than a finished lampshade. This version combines a black ceiling base, a lime-coloured textile cable and a metal lampholder with a chrome appearance. It can support a separately chosen lightweight shade or be used without a shade, leaving the bulb exposed.
Choose the shade and bulb separately
The lacquered aluminium base and metal lampholder form the suspension for lightweight shades. The manufacturer's compatible models include DOUBLE 40/30 and 55/30, ASPRO 40/30, RON 40/25, 55/30 and 60/19, and TEMPO 30/19 and 50/19. These references identify suitable separate shades, not items supplied with R11912. The suspension itself does not determine the shape or colour of the completed pendant.
A bulb is not included. The installation manual specifies an E27 LED bulb rated at no more than 15 W. Brightness and colour temperature therefore depend on the bulb selected, while the shade also affects how the light is distributed. The manufacturer allows dimming with a suitable light source. An E27 fitting does not, by itself, make every compatible bulb dimmable.
Check the dimensions before installation
The cable is 150 cm long. The ceiling base measures 8 cm in diameter and 2.7 cm high; these are not the dimensions of a lampshade. Compare the suspension length with your ceiling height and the intended position of the bulb and shade before ordering. The set operates at 230 V AC. Its manual requires a qualified installer and disconnection of the power supply before work begins.
A visible lime accent
The coloured cable remains part of the appearance after a shade is fitted. Used without a shade, the metal holder and single bulb suit industrial or restrained contemporary schemes. With a lightweight shade, HEX can form part of living-room, bedroom, kitchen or dining-area lighting. The complete combination determines the final lighting effect, rather than the suspension alone.
