Rendl SKY – white outdoor ceiling light

Rendl SKY R14229 is a compact white fitting for surface mounting. The manufacturer specifies it for outdoor ceiling installations and for locations requiring increased resistance in use. Its IP65 protection rating and 230 V supply define the technical context. The fitting uses a replaceable GX53 LED light source; the light source is not included.

Size and installation planning

A 9 cm diameter and 7 cm height keep the fitting close to the ceiling and visually discreet. Positioning and wiring should be planned for the conditions of the individual installation before fitting. The stated reference power is 7 W. This exact variant should not be described as dimmable, sensor-operated, or fitted with an integrated LED module, as those features are not specified by the manufacturer.

Use and appearance

The simple white finish suits a covered terrace, gazebo, or entrance area. IP65 makes the model worth considering for appropriately designed locations with increased moisture, while installation requirements still apply. SKY is a fitting rather than a bulb-included set, so a compatible GX53 light source must be selected separately. The manufacturer states a weight of 324 g.
