Rimini 2591BC is a NORLYS outdoor wall light shaped as a classic lantern hanging from an arm, cast in aluminium and finished in black with a copper patina. The hexagonal body with its roof and decorative finial is closed by clear UV-stabilised polycarbonate panes, and the lamp stays visible behind them — the manufacturer calls this open light.
Size and mounting
According to the manufacturer's drawing the light is 43 cm high and projects 26 cm from the wall, and it weighs 1 kg. It is fixed to the wall through two ø5 mm holes spaced 23 × 120 mm apart. For mounting on the corner of a building the manufacturer offers corner bracket 150, sold separately.
The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², and the EPDM gland takes round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter. IP54 means protection against dust and water splashes from any direction.
The lamp
The fitting has an E27 socket and takes an LED lamp of up to 9 W in the A55–A60 shape, the classic pear bulb. No lamp is included, and a larger decorative globe or a long candle lamp may not fit inside the lantern. The lamp is replaced by the user. The manufacturer suggests, for example, the dimmable Philips Master LEDbulb 806 lm / 8.5 W / 2700 K — 806 lm matches an old 60 W bulb, and 2700 K is a warm, yellowish light.
If the panes get damaged, the whole lantern does not need replacing: the manufacturer supplies a diffuser service kit, number 06404000.
