Outdoor wall lantern Norlys Rimini 2591BL black E27 IP54

The Rimini 2591BL is an outdoor wall light in the form of a classic hexagonal lantern hanging below its arm — the lantern points down rather than standing above the bracket. Body and arm are cast aluminium, powder-coated black (RAL 9005), and the panes are clear, UV-stabilised polycarbonate.

Size and wall mounting

The lantern is 43 cm tall and projects 26 cm from the wall — two figures worth comparing with the space beside a front door or gate. It fixes through two ø5 mm holes spaced 23 × 120 mm. The manufacturer also provides for mounting on the corner of a building, which needs the corner bracket 150XX0009, sold separately.

The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², and the EPDM gland seals a round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter. It is protection class II, so no earth conductor is needed, and IP54 means protection against dust and splashing water from any direction.

Which bulb and how much light

There is one E27 socket and no bulb in the box. The manufacturer allows an LED lamp of up to 9 W in an A55–A60 envelope, so a wider decorative globe or a long candle lamp will not fit. As a reference Norlys names the dimmable Philips Master LEDbulb 806 lm / 8.5 W / 2700 K — warm, slightly yellow light as bright as an old 60 W bulb. The user replaces the lamp.

The clear panes do not diffuse the light, so the bulb stays visible through the lantern and alone decides the colour and brightness.

Where it fits

The pointed roof, decorative finials top and bottom and the curved arm give the classic lantern style that suits facades of traditional architecture — at the entrance of a house, hotel or restaurant. A replacement diffuser is available for the model as service kit 06404000.
