An s.luce Beam glass colour filter in the multicolour version with a blue emphasis. It is a round disc 6.6 cm in diameter and 0.2 cm thick that sits inside a Beam-series luminaire and tints the beam of light coming out of it. The colour is applied directly to the glass, and the manufacturer describes it as smooth colour transitions with a blue accent.
Which lights it fits
The manufacturer intends the filter only for luminaires of the Beam series — the wall, ceiling and floor lamps of that line. It is not made for other series or other brands, so before ordering make sure the light you own is a Beam. The filter changes only the colour of the light: the luminaire and the light source are not part of this product.
How it goes in
According to the manufacturer, you unscrew the head of the luminaire, lay the filter in and screw the head back on. The filter can be taken out at any time, and the lamp then shines untinted again. The manufacturer also notes that the effect depends on the light source used and can range from subtle to strong.
Multicolour blue is one of eight colours of the Beam filter. The same family also includes a plain blue, so the full colour name is what matters when ordering.
