Skara 2954BL is a black 85 cm NORLYS bollard that combines an LED light with a power point: two 16 A Schuko sockets are built into the body. The body is an extruded aluminium profile powder-coated in black (RAL 9005), and the LED module at the top is sealed with a clear PMMA lens.
Sockets and power
The two Schuko sockets take up to 3600 W for a single appliance or 1800 W each for two, so electrical equipment can be plugged in right at the bollard, without an extension lead run from the building. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on, and the gland takes a round cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter.
The manufacturer states how many of these fittings fit on one circuit breaker: 82 on a B 10 A and 130 on a B 16 A. Installation and service work should be done by a suitably qualified person.
What light it gives and how it is controlled
The integrated Cree LED module draws 7.7 W, and the fitting delivers 730 lm at 4000 K, which is neutral white. The Ledil SCL lens spreads the light to an IESNA type II/III distribution, wide to the sides along a path or driveway, and a ULOR of 1.73% means only a small part of the light goes upwards.
The fitting is controlled in a DALI2/TD system, so dimming and schedules require a DALI controller in the installation. The manufacturer gives the LED module a lifetime of over 109,000 hours (L90) and the driver 100,000 hours; LED module 4699102108 and driver 4699210300 are available as spare parts replaced by a service technician.
Mounting and durability
The bollard has a 12 × 24 cm cross-section and weighs 6 kg. It is bolted down through four ø7 mm holes on a 64 × 64 mm pattern; concrete anchor 2934 is sold separately. The housing is rated IP54 and the optical unit of LED module and lens IP67, while IK08 describes its impact resistance.
