SLV EUTRAC 145524 3-phase track end feed, silver-grey, earth right

The SLV EUTRAC 145524 is an end-feed connector for a surface-mounted 3-phase lighting track. This silver-grey version has its earth contact on the right and a plastic housing. It is a connection component for the track system, not a standalone light or an LED power supply.

Choose the right earthing orientation

Colour and phase count are not the only selection criteria. The position of the earth contact must match the orientation of the track in the planned layout. Article 145524 identifies the right-earth version. The manufacturer's references to left-earth feeds and other colours describe separate variants, not selectable features of this particular article.

Compatibility is specified for EUTRAC. A similar-looking track from another system does not establish an electrical or mechanical match. The connector measures 11.2 cm long, 3.6 cm wide and 3.2 cm high, so allow for these dimensions when planning the end of the track.

Installation and operating limits

SLV's datasheet specifies 220–240 V at 50/60 Hz and protection class I. The installation instructions permit indoor use only, exclude damp or wet locations and state a maximum ambient temperature of 45°C. Installation and maintenance must be carried out by a suitably qualified person. Disconnect the mains supply before fitting, inspecting or replacing the connector.

The instructions make the installer responsible for electrical, mechanical and thermal compatibility between the track and its luminaires. Choose the feed as part of the whole installation. When replacing an existing part, check its system designation and contact orientation rather than relying on a photograph alone.

This component does not determine brightness or light distribution; those depend on the luminaires fitted to the compatible track. Its elongated housing forms a functional track ending rather than a decorative shade.
