The S-TRACK DALI clip is a white-painted steel catch that snaps into an SLV track and takes the weight of the luminaire hanging below it. Its body carries an internal thread, into which a suspension cable or the luminaire's own pendant is screwed.
Which track it belongs to
The manufacturer specifies this clip for the 3-circuit high-voltage surface-mounted S-TRACK DALI system. The system name is the whole of the compatibility specification here: a three-circuit track profile differs from a single-circuit one and from other makers' profiles, so a clip built for S-TRACK will not snap into just any rail.
The clip itself is a mechanical part — it hangs the luminaire, it does not connect it. Current reaches the lamp through a track adapter, bought separately along with the luminaire.
Size and build
The catch is 4 cm long, 3.4 cm wide and 1.25 cm high, and weighs 19 g. At those proportions it disappears against the track and does not break the ceiling line, which shows when several luminaires hang in one row.
The body is steel, painted white; the manufacturer also runs this connector in other colour versions, so a black track calls for a different article number. This article is the clip on its own — the cable or pendant that screws into the thread belongs to the luminaire.
