SONORA LE42807 is a white pendant light shaped as a flat 60 cm ring, made of aluminium and acrylic. The band is 7 cm wide and 8 cm high and the centre stays open across 46 cm, so the fitting looks light despite its size.

Size and suspension

The manufacturer's drawing gives an overall height of 200 cm, measured from the ceiling to the bottom edge of the ring. Compare that with your own ceiling height and with how low the ring should hang. Over a dining table the lower edge usually sits 70–80 cm above the top, and a 60 cm ring suits a table larger than the standard four-seater.

The light hangs on two thin wires, while the power cable runs separately from a cylindrical canopy 7.6 cm across and 20.5 cm tall. That makes three fixing points on the ceiling to plan before drilling.

How much light and what kind

The source is an integrated 50 W LED module delivering 2733 lm. That is enough for main lighting — roughly what two old 100 W bulbs gave — so SONORA can be the only light over the table or in the middle of the room. The LEDs are built in, so there are no bulbs to buy.

The manufacturer gives a colour temperature range of 2700–4000 K for the module, from warm, slightly yellow light to neutral white. The fitting is wired directly to 230 V mains.

Series and variants

The form is modern and unadorned: a smooth white ring and thin wires. The SONORA series also includes 80 cm (60 W) and 100 cm (80 W) rings and black and gold finishes, so the same shape can be matched to a longer table or a different interior.
