Bollard Light NORLYS Stavanger 5060GR graphite LED 12.2 W 4000 K DALI2 95 cm

Stavanger 5060GR is a bollard light shaped as a cylinder 95 cm high and 20 cm in diameter. The body is cast aluminium powder-coated graphite (RAL 7016), and below the flat cap runs a ring of clear, UV-stabilised polycarbonate. The LED module and driver are built in.

What light it gives

The light is indirect and rotationally symmetric: it spreads evenly all around the bollard and is directed downwards onto the ground. The luminaire draws 12.2 W and delivers 493 lm, although the module itself has 1171 lm – the indirect optic hides the source from view but holds back part of the flux (40.4 lm/W). 3.14% of the flux goes upwards (BUG B0-U2-G1).

4000 K is a neutral white and CRI 80 is the usual colour rendering for area lighting. The DALI-2 driver with NightDim is factory-programmed to maximum current, and Norlys programs other parameters by arrangement with its sales department. Brightness is controlled digitally from a DALI controller, not with an ordinary phase dimmer. The light source is in energy class E.

Mounting and wiring

The base is bolted down through three ø9 mm holes spaced at 120° on a ø145 mm circle. The parts for setting it are sold separately: ground anchor 1231GA0009, concrete-in anchor 1230ZX0009, concrete foundation adapter 1232GA0010 or mounting adapter 3087GA0009, depending on whether it stands in a lawn or on concrete. It weighs 11.03 kg, or 12.69 kg in its 22.5 × 22.5 × 103.5 cm carton.

The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 4 mm², or up to 5 × 2.5 mm² when looped through, so several bollards can run from one cable. The gland takes round cable of ø8–17 mm. The luminaire is protection class I and needs a protective earth; installation and service are for a qualified person.

Durability and intended use

IP65 lets the bollard stand in the rain without cover, and IK10 – the top class on that scale – means it withstands an impact of 20 J. It operates from −20 to +45 °C. The module keeps 70% of its flux after more than 70,000 h (L70) and the driver is rated for 100,000 h; both are replaced only by a professional service using repair kit ZS5060zx0010. Norlys intends Stavanger for private grounds and public areas, and on order makes it in another RAL colour.
