TEKKNI UHRE 38-0971-20 is a recessed LED profile set with a black aluminium body and an opal S14 cover. This version is 2.02 m long rather than exactly 2 m. It is intended for furniture lighting, including cabinets, worktops and display areas.
Included parts and lighting components
The package contains one UHRE profile, one polycarbonate S14 cover and four plastic end caps. The manufacturer specifies ABS for the end caps. The opal cover identifies this particular article: transparent and frosted covers belong to different product codes. The listed cover and end caps therefore do not need to be ordered individually to assemble this set.
An LED strip is not listed among the included parts. UHRE provides the profile and cover for a lighting installation, rather than a finished luminaire with a stated wattage or colour temperature. Select the strip and its power supply as part of the lighting design. The manufacturer places the power supply outside the profile.
Check the section before routing the furniture
The section measures 21 mm across its full width and 12.7 mm in height. The official drawing also distinguishes a 16 mm lower width from a 14.2 mm internal width. These measurements describe different parts of the section; the overall width should not automatically be used as the routing dimension.
Installation is in a milled recess, using double-sided tape or a push-in fit. Compare the furniture thickness and intended mounting position with the profile drawing before machining. Allow for the actual 2020 mm length when planning the run.
A recessed line for cabinets and displays
The inset construction keeps the body within the mounting area, making it suitable for modern, minimalist cabinetry. Supported uses include kitchens, cupboards, shelves and retail displays. The final amount and character of light depend on the complete installation and selected LED strip, not on the black profile and opal cover alone.
