The Moss Bowl Planter in the Low size is a shallow, round stoneware bowl for plants from Bazar Bizar. The upper part carries a glossy dark green glaze that runs down in uneven drips, while the lower part stays matt, sandy beige and rough – hence the colour name Concrete Green, although the material is stoneware, not concrete.
Size and what it will hold
The bowl is 16.5 cm across and only 8 cm high, so the soil layer is shallow – it suits shallow-rooted plants such as succulents, cacti or moss, which the maker names directly. The wide opening lets you set several small plants side by side as an arrangement.
Compare the 16.5 cm diameter with the depth of the windowsill or shelf where the bowl will stand. It weighs 1.2 kg.
How it is made and where it can stand
Each bowl is made by hand, so the glaze, the drips and the texture of the base vary slightly from piece to piece – the one you receive will not be identical to the photo. The maker lists it for outdoor use, so besides a windowsill or table it can also stand on a balcony or terrace.
