TK-Lighting RIBO Gray 16172 garden bollard light, grey, 80 cm, E27 IP54

TK-Lighting RIBO Gray 16172 is a grey garden bollard with a cylindrical body and a white plastic diffuser screened by vertical ribs. Its aluminium and plastic construction combines a plain lower shaft with a more articulated lamp head, rather than branching arms or a decorative lantern top. This is the 80 cm version, fitted with one E27 socket.

Check the height against the planting

The light measures 9 × 80 × 9 cm. Its narrow body can be planned beside a garden path or at the edge of a terrace, but compare the height of the head with surrounding plants before choosing a location. The diffuser sits at the top of the bollard, so tall planting can obscure it even where the slim shaft occupies little space.

The base detail shows a circular flange with fixing holes. Leave the pedestrian route clear and account for an electrical supply when planning the installation. This is not a solar light or a portable table lamp that can be positioned without a mains connection.

A separately chosen E27 bulb

No light source is included. The manufacturer's limit is 15 W for an LED bulb, so the E27 socket does not mean that any wattage is acceptable. Brightness, colour temperature and colour rendering depend on the bulb you select. Neither the grey finish nor the illuminated lifestyle photographs establish those properties for the supplied fitting.

Dimming likewise depends on the installed bulb. The fitting has no integral power switch and operates at 230 V. If adjustable brightness is part of your lighting plan, check the chosen bulb's dimming specification and its compatibility with your intended control equipment. Plan how the light will be switched alongside its position.

Outdoor use with a restrained profile

IP54 provides dust protection within the scope of that rating and protection against splashing water; it is not an immersion rating. The manufacturer identifies gardens, terraces, entrances and paths as applications for the RIBO family. This standing version can be placed beside a pedestrian route or driveway, outside the vehicle path.

The simple cylinder and repeated vertical ribs support a modern, minimalist appearance. The white diffuser contrasts with the grey body in daylight as well as at night. Unlit product photographs let you assess that detailing separately from the light colour produced by your eventual bulb choice.
