TRIO TRIOTO 509760132 garden bollard light, matt black, 45 cm, E27

TRIO TRIOTO 509760132 is a low garden bollard made from stainless steel with a matt black finish. Its cylindrical body supports a pale light cover topped by a black ring. A circular mounting flange and the unadorned outline give this outdoor fitting a modern, minimalist appearance.

Planning a position beside a path

The manufacturer identifies footpaths, driveways and garden areas, as well as positions near patios, as intended uses. At 45 cm high, the light cover sits relatively close to the ground rather than at the height of a tall garden lantern. Compare that height with planting and border edges when choosing a position, so they do not conceal the illuminated section.

The base measures 11.8 cm in diameter. The technical drawing shows two mounting holes spaced 10 cm apart; that distance helps with preparing the support and is not the diameter of the upright body. The assembly diagram shows installation on a prepared foundation and rules out placing the flange in a depression in the ground. Keep the fitting outside the clear walking route rather than in the middle of a path.

A replaceable E27 bulb, supplied separately

This version takes one E27 bulb rated at no more than 25 W. The bulb is not included, so brightness and colour temperature depend on the source you select. The maximum wattage is a compatibility limit, not a stated lumen output or a fixed operating consumption for every bulb.

The manual shows access to the socket by unscrewing the upper cover. Check the bulb's physical dimensions against the space inside the fitting before buying it. This TRIOTO is not a bollard with a permanently installed, non-replaceable LED module.

Electrical connection and outdoor protection

The fitting requires a 230 V, 50 Hz supply. It is Class I, and the instructions show a protective-earth connection. IP44 provides protection against foreign objects larger than 1 mm and splashing water from all directions; it does not mean dust-tight construction or suitability for immersion. Follow the manufacturer's installation instructions when preparing the supply and mounting surface. Treat the bollard as a fixed outdoor fitting, not a portable lamp to move around the garden.
