VT-61003 is the smallest LED panel in V-TAC's mini-panel family: a square just 9 cm to a side and 2.8 cm thick, delivering 330 lumens on 3 W. This is not a fitting for lighting a room — it is a light point for places where a bigger panel simply does not fit: alcoves, cabinets, stair landings, dropped ceiling sections, furniture builds.
Backlit in a 9 × 9 cm format
Despite its size the panel uses backlit technology — the diodes are spread across the whole face rather than sitting along the edges. At such a small format that has a noticeable effect: the luminous surface is uniform, without the brighter outline and darker centre that are especially visible in edge-lit mini panels. An efficacy of 110 lm/W matches panels many times larger.
Cool white at 6500 K
6500 K is cool, distinctly bluish white — the coldest usually offered. It is chosen deliberately where contrast and legibility matter more than mood: plant rooms, garages, storerooms, shop back areas, display cases holding goods that should look fresh. In a living room or bedroom this colour reads as harsh — for living spaces the 3000 K or 4000 K variant from the same series is the better pick.

Installation
The panel is designed for suspended ceilings, plasterboard and furniture builds — it slides into a prepared aperture and sprung clips pull the frame against the board. The driver is supplied with the fitting. At 2.8 cm the depth is modest: the panel fits even where only a few centimetres remain above the board. The IP20 rating restricts it to dry rooms — it is not suitable for bathroom zones exposed to water, nor for outdoor use.
Where it works
At 330 lumens a single panel puts out roughly as much as one LED candle bulb — too little to light a room, but right for accent lighting or as one element of a run. A dozen or more laid out on a regular grid produce the familiar "starry ceiling" effect, while individual units work well over a worktop in a fitted unit, in a display case, in a shelved alcove or above the entrance to a service room.
