V-TAC VT-12031-N LED panel 120x30 cm 29W 3960lm 4000K CRI80 IP20 white

VT-12031-N is a 120 × 30 cm LED panel just 12.5 mm thick. It drops into a standard suspended-ceiling grid or mounts on a surface frame, and at 29 W it delivers 3960 lumens — about 137 lm/W.

120 × 30, not 60 × 60

That is a choice dictated by the geometry of the room. An elongated panel lights a band rather than a square: it works above a run of shop shelving, along a corridor, over a row of desks or above a counter. Where even light is needed along a length, one 120 cm panel replaces two square ones and leaves fewer dark gaps.

What the EPREL registry confirms

The panel is registered in the EU EPREL database under number 1173364, and the entry is marked verified. The registry confirms the declared figures: 29 W, 3960 lm, 4000 K, CRI 80, energy class E. It also gives two numbers catalogues rarely carry: a lumen maintenance factor of 0.96 — at rated life the panel still delivers 96% of its initial output — and a survival factor of 1.00, meaning no failures are projected within that period.

CRI 80 — and an honest word about R9

Colour rendering is 80, the norm for office and retail lighting. The registry separately declares the R9 = 11 component, which describes how saturated reds are rendered. That is a low figure, typical of CRI 80 panels: red tones will look muted. For displaying meat, fruit, cosmetics or strongly coloured fabrics a higher-CRI source is the better choice; for an office, a store room, a corridor or back-of-house this panel is entirely sufficient.

Installation

The panel is hardwired through a terminal block — there is no plug. A driver is included, input is 220-240 V at 50/60 Hz, and the power factor exceeds 0.9. The fitting is not dimmable. The housing is aluminium with a PMMA diffuser and PP components; it weighs 2.66 kg. The IP20 rating is for dry interiors, and the declared switching endurance is 15,000 cycles.
