Varberg 7152GR LED Floodlight Graphite 7.7W 3000K Dimmable - NORLYS

VARBERG 7152GR is a compact LED floodlight with a housing made from extruded aluminium profile, powder-coated in graphite RAL 7016. A sealed, clear polycarbonate cover protects its four optical cells, and the body sits on a bracket that tilts vertically to aim the light at a chosen part of a wall. Norlys designed the series for lighting building facades, gardens and private grounds; the plain rectangular body is a modern form.

Size and connection

The luminaire is 13 cm wide, 16 cm high including the bracket and 9 cm deep, and weighs 0.9 kg. Compare them with the space under a cornice, by a plinth or in a bed in front of the wall. The bracket is fixed through two Ø7 mm holes spaced 90 mm apart.

The factory-fitted 1.5 m H05RN-F 3G1 cable is connected in a suitably chosen junction box, which is not included. This is a protection class I luminaire, so it must be connected to the protective earth conductor. Norlys offers the 144 connection box and the 6439 mounting clamp separately.

Light and dimming

The LED module and the electronic driver are built in, so there is no light source to buy. The luminaire draws 7.7 W and delivers 741 lm – slightly less than an old 60 W bulb – at 3000 K, a warm white under which pale render and stone take on a warmer tone than under neutral light. The Ledil T4-B lens has an asymmetric IESNA type IV distribution: it spreads light forward in a wide fan rather than a narrow beam. The manufacturer's calculation assumes the luminaire stands on the ground 1.5 m from the wall, lighting the facade.

The luminaire is phase-dimmable in trailing-edge (TE) mode, so dimming requires a dimmer that works in that mode. IP65 ingress protection and IK08 impact resistance allow it to be mounted outdoors without an extra cover.

Service life and servicing

The manufacturer rates the LED module at 109,000 hours (L90 to TM-21) and the driver at 50,000 hours, so the driver is the part that wears out first. Both are replaceable, but only by the Norlys professional service, so a failure of either does not mean replacing the whole luminaire.

In the Varberg series the same body also comes in 4000 K (7154) and with DALI2 control (7153 and 7155), while the larger 30 W floodlights, 23 cm long, are numbered 7150 and 7151.
